US example estimate: logged business miles × the IRS standard mileage rate for the driving date. A deduction lowers taxable income; it isn't cash, a refund, or tax saved. Eligibility rules apply, including the rules for choosing the standard rate. Commuting isn't deductible. Read the mileage log guide.
Use Orphie for deliveries, rideshare, property showings, or client visits. In Settings, open Driving for and tap Add your own.
Names under Driving for label the whole shift. Orphie doesn't connect to company accounts or split miles between them.
You choose which miles to log. Orphie doesn't decide what's deductible or identify commuting.

Correcting GPS miles requires a reason. Orphie marks the shift "Miles corrected" and keeps the original miles and correction history. You can also delete shifts.
Search your log, or filter by year, vehicle, or Driving for.
Your records stay on your phone. You choose where to save a backup.
Share your year's mileage log as a PDF or CSV.
Back up your log. In Settings, open Backup and restore and tap Back up now. Only a backup file can restore your log. Exports are for reading.
Orphie has no server. Apple Maps on iPhone and Google Maps on Android draw the route map. If you turn on City names in business purpose, Orphie sends the shift's start and end location to that map service once after End shift. On Android, you can also turn on automatic backups to your own Google Drive. See the privacy policy.
For recordkeeping rules, read the mileage log guide.
You can add a shift by hand. It stays permanently marked “Added by hand” and has no route. Orphie can't recover a drive it didn't record.
Yes. Select more than one name under Driving for. Orphie keeps one mileage total for that shift; it can't tell which miles were for which one.
Yes. In Settings, open Driving for and tap Add your own. Select the name before Start shift. Whether the miles are deductible depends on how you work. See the US mileage log guide.
Tap Resume shift to continue logging. If you tapped End shift while recording, location can continue for up to 10 minutes, or until the car has been parked for 2 continuous minutes, whichever comes first. Resume keeps the extra driving recorded during that window, even if you resume later. Driving after the window closes and before you resume can't be recovered. Save shift keeps the record as it was at End and discards the extra driving. If you tapped End shift while paused, location stayed off.
No. Driving for names are labels you choose. Orphie doesn't ask for company logins or detect which platform you're using.
Your log is stored on your phone. Export a year's mileage log as a PDF or CSV from Taxes, or use Export all data in Settings for every record. To make a backup, open Backup and restore in Settings and tap Back up now. Only a backup file can restore your log. Exports are for reading.
